Our archive informs people about more than 280 years of the history of migration. It documents life in
Rixdorf, which was established as a community by people from Bohemia in 1737 and their descendants. By providing a review of immigration policy in Prussia, we endeavour to offer insights into the situation of present-day refugees.

We offer guided tours through what was then a Bohemian village and is still sometimes called Böhmisches Dorf, with its garden, small alleys and hidden courtyards.
